Hello Friends! welcome to my Crash Corner (My Attempt at keeping the forums alive...) ^^ Here I'd like to raise a few topics for... Well... Discussion?
Crash's Pokémon Of the Week
Key Trainers: SkyDriver
Salamence is of coarse the Dragon/Flying Type monster from Gen III and is still one of today's top tier Pokémon! Amazing sets include a Dragon Dance Setup, a Mixed Sweeper or even a simple Choiced set with Band or Scarf (Or very rarely, Specs - But this is outclassed by both Hydreigon and Latios). In Gen V, Salamence was gifted with the ability Moxie, making the already near-broken Pokémon even more power! All in all, Salamence is a very favoured Pokémon and will probably most likely be for generations to come...
Current Pokémon News
Probably the most talked about news lately is the newly announced Mega Evolution Pokémon. Here are some of the announced Pokémon to gain 'Mega Evolutions' so far...
Blaziken looks kinda cool... It looks less chicken like with each evolution... It still has Speed Boost and it's currently unclear what the main differences are...
Lucario looks... Sinister... Sinister, but cool too! I actually like the design (INB4 he appears in the next Super Smash Bros. with this form!). He gets an Attack Boost with this form and the Ability Adaptability... Oh brother... We're all screwed...
Rainbow Dash and Rarity had a baby, it grew up into a teenage Goth and became this... It's kinda cute... This Absol gets an Attack boost and Gen Vs famous Magic Bounce Ability!
Princess Peach and Petey Piranha also had a baby and it became this... I kinda think it's cute... This form has Boosted Defences and the Ability Huge Power which... Is actually awesome! I see Mawile getting that improvement it needed - Which is what I hope Game Freak decide to do with almost every Pokémon stuck in the depths of NU and NEU...
Pfft...WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! - It's also an Electric/Dragon Pokémon with Mold Breaker
It's Mewtwo... But... It's weird... It has Insomnia... Which is nice...
Now I know a lot of you guys have been talking about this one in the PO Chatbox loads this week! Mainly because of it's new signature Ability - Parental Bond. Essentially, this allows Kangaskan(s) to attack twice in one turn! This is pretty awesome, but possibly OP? Let see...
Return - 102BP X2 = 204BP (+STAB)
Focus Punch - 150BP x2 = 300BP
OP? Well wait until you see my evil plan for this Pokémon...
I plan to take advantage of a totally devastating Move; Comet Punch! And with this Move, I equip the Evil King's Rock and watch Mega Kangaskan hit 4-10 Times! Mwahahahahaha... Ok, that actually sounds scary...
What are your opinions on these new 'Mega Evolutions'? (First time I put Mega Digivolutions...) Who's your favourite? Feel free to voice your thoughts on these guys below...
Something You Might Not Have Known...
I have an interesting word for you: Cacophony. Know what it means? me neither until I Googled it! It has something to do with discordant sounds... But more interestingly, Did you know that Cacophony was originally going to be an Ability in Gen III? Cacophony is literally a clone of Soundproof and was installed into the coding for Ruby/Sapphire (And interestingly all other Pokémon GBA Games). Apparently it was to be the signature Ability of the Whismur family but for some unknown reason, it received the regular Soundproof Ability instead... Odd, but that's how it went. Strangely enough however, it still made an appearance on the TCG Card Exploud from Great Encounters with a multitude of different effects for one move...

| The images are the same to serebii but wether or not he got them from there is another story.
Also my favourite Megas are absol, I like that it is the first time they have given a non-psychic type magic bounce, and kangaskhan if that thing is going to be uber then it will be pretty much on every OU team unless they don't amp up its power as much as the others. | |

And interesting info about the MegaEvolutions, my personal favourite is Lucario
Also, have you noticed that most MegaPokemons got somekind of weird haircut? For example Lucario got some dreds, Absol keeps the emo motif and Ampharos, well you can see for yourselves xDD
