| HELLO FELLOW BAFOONS!
In celebration of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Yveltal has decided to do a nuzlocke challenge and document his tortures here. He was planning to do Emerald, but decided that would be boring. So, He will nuzlocke Pokemon Flora Sky, an Emerald hack by Sky from Poke-Mega (no, not SkyDriver) that includes a slightly adjusted storyline and pokemon from gens 1-5 (not 6).
Enough of the third person already
I will post updates in chapters throughout the summer by editing this post and bumping with a reply.
FOR THOSE OF YOU UNDER A ROCK WHO DON'T KNOW WHAT A NUZLOCKE IS, HERE ARE THE GENERAL RULES (As stolen from Bulbapedia):
- RULES:
-Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released.
-The player may only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances. If the first encounter in the area is a Double Battle in dark grass, the player may choose which of the two Pokémon they would like to catch.
-While not exactly a definite rule, the general consensus is that players must also nickname all of their Pokémon, for the sake of forming stronger emotional bonds.
-Also not a definite rule, but the general consensus is that a black out/white out is considered to be "game over", even if there are Pokémon left in the PC.
-Strongly implied, though not explicitly mentioned in the comic, is the stipulation that the player can use only Pokémon they have captured themselves, meaning traded Pokémon, mystery gifts, etc., are prohibited. Trading and retrading the same Pokémon (for the purpose of evolving a Graveler, for example) is something of a gray area, and may fall under optional rules. As of White: Hard-Mode Episode 3, it is implied that the player can accept Pokémon that are received freely from NPCs.
-Also strongly implied is a prohibition against voluntarily resetting and reloading the game when things go wrong. Being able to do so would render all of the other rules pointless.

Here are the optional rules I will be using:
- Optional Rules:
-As a mercy rule, if the player runs into a Shiny Pokémon, the player may still catch it, regardless of whether or not it is the first encounter in the area. It also does not need to be released if it faints.
-As another mercy rule, each Gym badge acts as a checkpoint. If the player gets a game over, they can start from when they got their previous Gym badge.
-If the player has no Pokémon that can use a certain field move that is required to continue through any given point of the game, they may catch another Pokémon that can learn said field move. However, it cannot be used in battle for any reason, and must be released, permanently boxed, or migrated as soon as the player gets another Pokémon that can use said field move.
-Species/Dupes Clause: Adjusting the first encounter rule to ban duplicate captures.
-Not officially enforcing the rules until the player has Poké Balls and can catch Pokémon

- Chapter 1 - One Day, Beneath a Blue Sky - June 9:
TITLE HINT: the name of a chapter in a certain 3ds RPG that I like - Did usual pre-game stuff, naming myself Velt and choosing the female character. - Went into Mt. Fullmoon. - SAW A f***ing CRESSELIA - It was only an illusion  - Oh look, a Prof Birch appeared. - A WILD ZIGYZOONGOON APPEARED… Wait, I lack pokemon. - Realised that the starters are the gen 4 starters - Did a happy dance, and picked Piplup, as Empoleon is my favorite pokemon ATM - Spammed pound on said ziggyzoongoon - Returned to lab, named Piplup Napoleon, after my Scarf Empoleon on my OU team. - Find Brendan again - “Now try to be a TRAINER” ~Brendan. - ENGAGE RIVAL BATTLE 1:
- I almost die on my first battle
- Realise Empoleon was holding an Oran berry for no apparent reason.
- win.
- Receive Pokedex - Receive Pokeballs - Now Wally will teach me how to… Wait, arent I supposed to teach Wally how to catch pokemon? - Wally somehow encounters a Lv 5 Ralts on his first try AND TRIES TO CATCH IT USING MY POKEMON!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? - Sigh… At least he gave me running shoes - And my first true encounter on route A: A Lv 3 patrat… - Welp, at least I caught it… - Named Twitch, after a champion in League of Legends - Realised the next area was named Forest Entrance, and retreated to Small Town to heal - return to Forest Entrance, and find that there was a Pokemon Center right there. What a noob Yvelt… - “Those people are Team Magma. I dont know what they want in this forest, but they make me uncomfortable.” ~Ms. Masters - Walks 2 steps - Prof Birch shows up again - Gives me National Pokedex… Wait WHAT? This game is getting weird. - First encounter in Forest Entrance: another Patrat. QUEUE THE SPECIES CLAUSE! - Second encounter in Forest Entrance: Lv 4 Zigzagoon. Beautiful, more s*** normal types. - Catch it, name Rocket after Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy - First encounter on Route B: A whopping Lv 3 Zigzagoon Siiigh… - retreat to Route A to train - OH NOW YOU SHOW UP RALTS. WOW. f***ing WOW. - Twitch smacks the s*** out of Ralts - Oh yea, 2 Ralts in a row. My luck is s*** today. - Return to Route B, Encounter and capture a Starly - Name it Anivia, another League of Legends reference - Return to train more - Forget this game has a Crit damage amplifier (1.25X normal crits, I believe) - RIP Rocket, Crits kill. - Run through Route B, doing stuff and training - Reach Puel City - Realise my team is ⅔ normal and a Fighting gym is the first gym. HOW IS THAT EVEN FAIR? - If only I’d gotten a Ralts END CHAPTER 1 Current Team:  Napoleon lv 8 - NEW  Anivia lv 9 - NEW  Twitch Lv 7 - NEW Deaths:  Rocket Lv 4 - NEW/NEW DEATH

NAME HINT: Look at the new Pokemon in this chapter and their nicknames. Its not just called that because a lot of my Pokemon Evolve at once - Enter Puel City Gym - Awesome, Its Brawly's gym, darkness and all. Fml - Challenge first trainer - Realise how underleveled your pokemon are - attempt to grind, fail - SO SOLVE IN THE WAY THAT SOLVES ANY PROBLEM: THROW MONEY AT IT!!! - Day Care OP - watch as lv 11 anivia wrecks a gym - - ENGAGE GYM BATTLE VS BRAWLY IMPERSONATOR ( I forget his name):
- Anivia vs Tyrogue: AAW, I WANT A CUTE LITTLE TYROGUE :(Anivia one hits with Wing Attack
- Anivia vs ????: Jeez my memory is s*** today. Doesnt matter, as Anivia 2 hits whatever it is, but ends up using more than 2 turn by burning all the GL's Potions
- Anivia vs Hitmonchan: Hitmonchan spams Bulk Up until in red health (3 turns). When he nearly one hits my bird, I decide its time to switch
- Napoleon vs Hitmonchan: Napoleon tanks the hits and finishes off Hitmonchan. I take Gym Badge, Cash, and TM, and get the f*** out of there.
- Continue south to Mystic Town Via Route C - Capture Shinx, named SparkPlug for no reason - Attempt to go to Pokemon Center - Awesome, its blocked - Walk 2 steps south - OH LAWD ITS A GURITINA AND A DIALGIA AND THESE ONES ARE REAL - AND DIALGA CREATES A MASSIVE RIFT... And I get sucked in. Awesome. - Get rescued by a... SHAYMIN!?!??!??!??!?!! - Return to Pule city, grabbing an Old Rod on the way. - Capture a Lv 10 Tentacool in Puel City, Named Vel'Koz, another League of Legends reference - return to Small town and head out along Route D - Capture Lv 9 Ekans on Route D, named Kingda Ka - Enter Bee Bug Forest, which is not near Forest Entrance - NOOOOO, NOT ANOTHER FOREST... - Capture Lv 10 Caterpie, which I forgot to nickname ingame, So ill use the name rater when I find him. "The hero Gotham needs, not the one it deserves" - Water cave is ALSO a dead end, so head back to route F - Find the GL on route F, hidden by mach bike ramps - Awesome, the gym looks like Whitney's from gen 2 (Read: OP Miltank) and the GL's name is Caitlin (Read: Gen 5 E4) - Charge into the gym underlevelled as ever - WELP, LEMME GO CHECK ON VEL'KOZ AT LE DAY CARE - He is 2 lvs higher than my highest, which I ignore in true Yvelt fashion - Get Epona and Sparkplug2 to mediocre levels - Insert gym battle here - ENGAGE GYM BATTLE VS CAITLIN (Ill put the battle in a spoiler next week when im not on my phone. Make a mobile site for this thing) - Anivia vs Lilipup: It is the same Caitlin from gens 4 and 5. A few wing attacks to the face put the dog down - Anivia vs Chansey: At leadt Eviolite isnt in this game... I think. Wing Attack crits. - Kakuna vs Delcatty: Sure, kittehs. He uses Double team into my Sleep Powder. I still hit. I than panic about what to do if delcatty hits +6 evasion, but come up with a plan - Sparkplug2 vs Delcatty: Charge-Shockwave crits as she wakes up forcing a super potion into more Charge-Shockwaves. Kakuna comes in for healing and Sleep Powder, but Sparky does most of the work (Kakuna has no attacking moves yet). GIMME MY DEMN BADGE! - End chapter before I do anything else stupid. | After much pain and torture trying to get this site to work, Chapter 3 is up.

SPECIAL NOTE: I post this from my phone using hotel Wi-Fi in a state not my own. Within 18 hours, I will be on a boat with no Wi-Fi or cell service, going in circles around the carribean.
