Chapter One – The Blue Nido



“Nido… Zzz…” Came the sound of the sleeping child. “It’s a wonder he wasn’t killed by the Sevipers” Miss Lia said. “It is…” Queen Nido half-replied, too busy smiling at the sleeping child. “Miss Lia, please could we stop for a few minutes, I’m starting to tire…” asked the Queen. “Of course my Lady” Miss Lia politely replied. “Thank you… ohh… ouch!” moaned the Queen. “My Lady are you Ok!? Are your pains returning?” Miss Lia asked with worry. “I’m afraid so. But now they’re getting worse. I think I’ll be due to lay the egg soon…” Answered the Queen.
Miss Lia said “I would Teleport us back home, but I am only able to Teleport three at a time. Now there are four of us, me, yourself, your un-laid egg and this little one.” The two of them looked at the sleeping child who was now lay on the Queen’s lap. The Pokémon had decided to rest by a particularly large tree by a river. They were now far away from the ruined home of the baby Nidoran and the scenery was starting to look much more pleasant. A swarm of Butterfree could be seen across the lake, and a group of young Bunearys playing leap-frog a short distance away, Along with a friendly looking Zangoose keeping an eye on them. “Miss Lia, how much further to home?” Asked the Queen. “Approximately ten to twenty minutes my Lady” Miss Lia courteously answered. “That’s good news, I don’t think I can walk for three for much longer…”

The Group sat by Tree for a quiet ten minutes when suddenly… “Piiiiiiip!” Screamed an unknown Pokémon! “What was that!?” Asked the Queen now in a state of Panic. “I don’t know! Hang on… Did you notice that?” Miss Lia said. “Notice what?” questioned the frightened Queen. All of a sudden a Large, Silver Tail could be spotted a short distance away…
