Chapter 14 - Memory Problems, Analysing and An Annoyance
POV - Lewis - Lewis Big Benn

"Got any Jaffa Cakes?" I asked hungrily... What the heck just happened? I was with Sky and Zépher on Ignis... Then it's all hazey... I think I saw Giratina... And the Guidance Shard... But then what? Whatever happened, I'm here now and that's that.

"...What?" I asked, trying to break the silence. Everybody looked like they just saw Arceus...

"Lewis?" Sky asked again. "Sky what's wrong?" I asked chuckling.

Sky just kept silent and signalled towards a mirror nearby... And that kinda answered my question...

"Uhh... Anybody got an explanation?... Please?" I pleaded... Ok when did this happen?

The Nurse Girl was quick to answer my question, saying "You went through a transformation... With the Guidance Shard... And your Drifblim... Oh.. Uhh... I'm Amanda by the way..."

"Well its nice to meet you Amanda... And Dodger? He's in me? He's part of me? He's... Uhh... Ok... And the Shard is huh?" I said before noticing the Guidance Shard had split and merged into the backs of my hands! My Skin was Purple, as we're my eyes... My hair looks different... Weird... But cool!

"Dodger huh? Why does that sound like a cool name for a Drifblim?" Zéphyr asked grinning.

"Well, yes... You and Dodger are now the same being... I'm not sure for how long though... Sorry" Amanda informed. "Who cares? I wanna see what you can do in this new form!" Zéphyr said excitedly. "Well, Mr Rushy Rusher, if you slow down a minute, we'll get to that! Now, if we use the Pokélyser, we can check Lewis' Moves, Stats, and Abilities... Seeing how Lewis is now part Pokémon..." Amanda Said. "Really? We can do that?" Mr Arieon asked now getting very interested. "Yup" Amanda clarified now putting on her glasses and looking rather smug.

Amanda pulled out the device from one of the draws on the desk. She held it up in my direction and said "Analyse Stats!"

The device took awhile to read... Me... And finally came up with some numbers...

HP - 100
Attack - 130
Defence - 35
Special Attack - 130
Special Defence - 95
Speed - 135

Amanda looked at the numbers and said "You have excellent Attack and Special Attack, but your Speed is your best attribute... Seems you have a bad Defence though..."

Sky asked "So would Lewis be considered a mixed attacker?"

"Yes" Amanda simply replied.

"Let's see abilities then..." Mr Arieon said smiling.

Again, Amanda held out the Pokélyser, but this time she said "Analyse Abilities" and the device again... Read me...

Eventually it made a beeping noise and came up with some results...

Unburden - Speed Doubles after using up/losing an item
Reanimate - May bring back used up items
Scarred - Takes no Burn damage but loses Accuracy when Burned

I was confused from these results... "Two of those aren't Pokémon abilities" I pointed out.

Amanda seemed to have an answer for this, saying "Well, Unburden I'm guessing you got from Drifblim. Then Reanimate... Maybe came from the Guidance Shard! And Scarred... Umm... I would say it came from you but I don't know why that would be your ability."

I think I knew the answer to this... "I... Uh... Was burned when I was little..." was all I said... I didn't want to reveal too much...

"Well that answers that..." Amanda said with concern... I really hope she doesn't ask about that...

Zéphyr was getting agitated and shouted "Moves next!"

For a third time, Amanda held up her Pokélyser, this time saying "Analyse Moves"

After a few short seconds the device showed a screen with the words...

Current Moves:
Shadow Ball - May lower Special Defence
Sucker Punch - Has Priority if the opponent is about to Attack
Air Slash - May Flinch the opponent
Repossession - Passes on Status Effects (Out of Battle Effect - Can manipulate other people's minds)

I was first to talk, saying "Yay! I get a Signature Move!" then Sky said "Maybe you got that from the Shard also"

Mr Arieon next said "Those are some useful moves, especially Repossesion - That move could help you if you were burned." I said "I don't wanna get burned" and I gave him my best puppy-face...

"Well... I gotta say Lewis... Your unique" a voice suddenly said...

"Guys... Did you just hear that?" I asked, panicked! "Yes" Sky replied looking around cautiously...

"Hey! Where did my Shard go!?" Zéphyr shouted at the Adsense of his Dark Guidance Shard!

"Somebody lost a Guidance Shard? Ive got a nice Dark one right outside here!" the voice mocked!

"Everyone outside now!" Mr Arieon commanded! I grabbed one of my Pokéballs from of the table ajacent to me and vanished through the walls to get outside!

I appeared outside to find a very strange red moustached-man. He was quite skinny in structure but had an evil look about him...

"Oh, come out to play Lewis?" the man mocked. "Very well... Let's play!" the man said smugly before a giant force field appeared around us! At this point, the others had finally made it outside. "Hey you! Return that Guidance Shard or else!" Zephyr threatened.

"Or else what?" The Man mocked again before sending out two Pokémon. He had one Houndoom and one Rypherior. "Wait a second... Aren't you the Rypherior who destroyed my treehouse?" I questioned. A massive Rock Blast was the only answered I was given! I swiftly dodged the incoming hits but ended up dropping my only Pokéball in the process. "Dammit!" I cursed as I tried to look for my missing Pokéball. Without it I was 2:1 down against the strange Man's Pokémon!

Suddenly the Rypherior went to attack again, this time with Rock Wrecker! I evaded the attack again, but just barely... I was too busy concentrating on looking for my missing Pokéball to evade the next attack... Houndoom attacked me with a dead on Fire Fang! "Gaaahh!!!" I screamed in pain! Now I know what it feels to be the Pokémon in the battle... I then noticed a great, big burning mark where the Houndoom attacked me... I'd been burned...

"Lewis! You gotta fight back!" Sky shouted as encouragement! I took his advice on board and attempted to perform a Repossesion Houndoom, but my eyesight became blotchy. I began seeing black spots and accidentally ended up attacking the Rypherior instead - who was still immobile from its Rock Wrecker! I also nabbed a Ground Gem from its large hands! Suddenly my sight returned and the burn mark dissapered (Althogh my clothing still suffered).

The Rhyperior suddenly noticed it was burned and began flailing in panic! His trainer shouted "Hey Boulder-Brain! I thought Rock Pokémon weren't afraid of Fire!" "Maybe he's had a bad experience..." I quietly said.

I suddenly remembered the Houndoom and turned around to see a charging Houndoom looking like it was ready to Crunch! I quickly vanished into a massive boulder behind me to avoid the attack, and amusingly the Houndoom crashed into the boulder, causing it to harm itself! I quickly took advantage of the moment and attacked the Houndoom with a clean Air Slash! Houndoom was knocked back several paces. The fiery dog was unable to move, it seems I managed to land a flinch on him!

Now to finish off the rock monster... It was still panicked from its burn, so I took the opportunity to attack with Shadow Ball! From the damage I dealt with Shadow Ball, and the burn damage, Rypherior was unable to continue and fell, fainted!

"Nice..." I quietly celebrated... Meanwhile, Houndoom had just recovered from the Flinch and came flying at me with a Bite! It was too late to dodge and I had to take the hit. "Ghnnaaaaaaaa!!" I winced in agony! The Bite hurt twice as much as as the Fire Fang... I was too dazed to think why... Then I remembered Amanda's words from before "Seems you have a bad Defence though..." if my Defence was this bad, then there was zero chance of me taking another hit...

I was about to counter with another attack... But my body just froze! I couldn't move a muscle! That Bite must have caused me to Flinch! I was done for...

"Lewis no!!" I heard someone shout... "Lewis please! You've got to move!" somebody else called... But still couldn't do anything... The Houndoom was right about to Bite so I closed my eyes and tried my best to brace for impact... But impact never happened... I opened my eyes to see... My best friend protecting me! "Prince..." I said smiling... Just barely staying with it. It looked like Prince has intercepted with a Sucker Punch, causing the Bite to fail!

I heard gasps and sighs of relief from the others... But I was too busy watching Prince battle!

Prince quicly used Hone Claws while Houndoom used Howl. Houndoom went to attack with Fire Fang but Prince intercepted again, this time with Drill Run! Houndoom cried out before fainting.

The Red Moustached-Man looked angry in defeat, but he still had the Guidance Shard! He took down the forcefield, abandoned his Pokémon and began to run away... Only to be stopped by a large looking Swampert! The Red Moustached-Man dropped the Shard in shock and ran away from the massive Water Pokémon.

Zéphyr ran towards the Swampert to regain his precious Shard while the others came to me...

I was still unable to move and ended up getting a lift inside from Sky and Mr Arieon... I was hurting all over... I blacked out.

I wonder who's that Swampert's Trainer? It seems powerful and big.
