The gym was in the oddest of places; a cave in on Mt Silver. The sign outside said "Skilled Trainers only". You enter. At the entrance, a man named Clive gives you a fresh water. You wonder how he managed to teleport from the Steel gym to here, but you ignore it for now. You have more pressing matters on your mind. You look around you. Water drips from the ceiling, and you notice a faint red glow around the cave. You realize you are standing on an island of obsidian, floating on lava.
Suddeny bats charge at you. You dodge them but you are unnerved by them, and are even more so by the giant Tyranitar statue in front of you. You then realize it isn't a statue.
"Welcome, challenger...," said a voice from the other end of the battle field.
"Let's make it quick. Go!"
You steel yourself as epic music begins to play and throw your first Pokéball...
